Bhogeshwara was a majestic bull, estimated to be in his late 40s. He was named after the Hindu god Bhogeshwara, and is known to be one of the largest and most magnificent elephants in the entire country. His distinctive tusks were in contention to be the longest of any elephant in India. Each tusk was nearly 3 metres in length.
