Mansur, Lodge Head

Mansur, an electronics engineer was a hardcore sales and operations professional in the telecom industry. He along with his wildlife photographer wife Gaythri Devi ventured into the world of wildlife photography wayback in 2008. He likes engaging with all the guests and personally feels that it should not be just a stay for the guests and should be a memory that they carry back when they leave. His rich experience in operations combined with his passion towards nature and his enthusiasm of connecting with people will help create your stay really worthwhile.

Mohan, Naturalist

Mohan who started his journey as a lead manager in the water pumps industry was fascinated and entered into the world of wildlife in the year 2018. His interest in wildlife culminated into him entering into the world of wildlife photography. Starting from birds and into mammals, he now even specializes in macro photography. He is an avid story teller and engages with guest with all his experiences in wildlife. A day with him at Red Earth, Gokarna will help the guests take great interests in understanding the flora and fauna as well as learning a lot of tips and tricks of using your mobile phones in picturing great memories.

Red Earth Gokarna has 20 cottages located at Honey Beach also called Honnebail and is 9.5 kms from Ankola town. The resort sits on a cliff which runs down into beautiful clean sand & sea. The sea is calm and its beach spotless with no debris or litter. There is no fishing village or commercial activity on this beach. The property intends to Focus on Wellness in all aspects.
