Red Earth Tadoba’s twenty charming cottages fuse traditional aesthetics with a modern touch. Spread across 15 acres of serene wooded property, the cottages have been built with preserving the topography and ecology of the region as a priority. Multitudes of birds and smaller wildlife can be found within the property itself!

Every cottage has a private wade pool overlooking a gurgling stream of spring water, offering a perfect place to unwind after a safari ride with sweeping views of the forest or relax in solitude under the starlit sky A private sit-out veranda brings you unobstructed views of the creek while an open to air shower area allows you to bathe to a medley of bird songs. We have cycles at Red Earth Tadoba Resort, nudging you to explore the property at your own pace. Each cottage is hidden in a world of its own with an earth wall of green cordoning it off entirely from the resort. 

Sustainability

Every aspect of the cottage has been built with eco-consciousness. The largest waste product in the Chandrapur area, fly ash – the residue from thermal plants, has been used to craft our building bricks. The doors have been painstakingly collected and recreated from various parts of the country, each with their history and architectural style.

The cottages stay cool due to the ingenious use of bamboo and grass in parts, for roofs and walls with oxide finishes, insulated puff sheets, and the natural stones of Betamcherla and Tandur for flooring.

The Gift Shop stocks everything that you may need at Tadoba, so don’t fret if you forget yours. It also showcases products crafted by people who deserve a platform, the sale proceeds from which are donated to our NGO, The Niligri Wayanad Tribal Society, www.nwtws.org, committed to the schools and the hospital we run for the indigenous community.

Local voltage of 220 to 240 AC. Adapters are available in all rooms, and transformers are available through Housekeeping.

Cancellation Policy
97% refund if cancellation is 15 days prior to arrival, 50% refund if it is between 08 to 14 days prior to arrival, no refund if it is less than 7 days prior to date of arrival.

Credit card with full billing details of cardholder to guarantee the reservation at the time of booking.

Peak Season
Guest is responsible for 100% of total reserved value for cancellations made within 21 days to the arrival date.
Deposit of 100% total reserved value is required 21 days before expected arrival date.

Spa Facilities
"SPA Facilities are for guests older than 14 years. SPA facilities are bound by the usage terms of SPA."

For children aged 5 years and below, stay and food from the children's menu is complimentary.

For children aged between 6 and 11 years, the stay is complimentary, while meals are charged as per the standard rates.

Early arrival
Rooms check-in time is from 3:00 pm. Should guests wish to arrive earlier, it is highly recommended to reserve and pay for the room/suite from the night before arrival, which will ensure immediate room/suite availability for the best possible arrival experience.

If you choose not to reserve an additional night for early arrival, please feel free to enjoy the resort’s facilities while we store your belongings.

Late departure
Check-out time is by 12:00 noon. Beyond this time, late check-out charges are applied: until 6:00 pm 50% of the daily rate, after 6:00 pm 100% of the daily rate.

Credit card details are required to confirm the booking. For safety reasons, credit card details must only be provided through a security link that will be sent by our reservation team upon reservation. It will be used as a guarantee only and the payment of your stay will be due on the day of your departure from the resort. An exception applies during high, peak period and festive season, when the credit card will be charged 100% of the total stay, 21 days prior arrival.

For our guests travelling with families, we offer twin cottages with a connecting door, which can be used independently as well. Moreover, one of our cottages has been modified to provide greater accessibility to differently enabled or seniors.

Toilets for the differently enabled are provided both at the swimming pool and the reception area.
We have an emergency medical kit available on-resort and a doctor available on call 24 hours 

Our parking space is an open area, and the management does not take responsibility for any incidents. We provide complimentary cafeteria food and a driver dormitory.
