We have created a series of deeply thought out, confidence-building measures for our guests.
• We will now Maintain a sanitizing checklist.
• Multi-tasking has All our employees already trained in housekeeping. From our security to pot wash staff. From our lifeguards to our garden help. The levels will be upped as stated below.
• We will be conducting training for staff across our properties, on a regular basis for COVID – 19.
• A Hygiene Audit will be regularly conducted by a separate trained team of senior staff.
• We will create a COVID-19 Officer/ Coordinator who will be reporting any health-related issue in the Hotel or will get in touch with Local Authorities if required.
• We have already created space for isolation purpose.
• We will be using 3 layered Face Masks for all staff & provide the same for guests.
• We will Use a high Power Air Blower at our bell desk and sanitiser with 70% alcohol to sanitize guest luggage.
• We will be Using Sodium Hypochlorite (NaClO) to sanitize the receiving area.
• All vehicles coming into the Hotel will be sanitized.
• Our 15-acre properties have just 20 well-spaced cottages, initially keeping privacy & personalised hospitality in mind. This will today help in social distancing, post covid.
• We will have liquid & not gel-based sanitisers, which have 70% alcohol for all our general areas & cottages.
• Bleach process for cleaning floors & surfaces that we are now incorporating:
Bleach usually comes in a 5% solution. Add cold water (hot water will not work) to dilute it. For floors and large surfaces, use 2 cups bleach in a 5-gallon bucket of water (500 ml bleach in 20 litres water). To make smaller amounts, use 3 tablespoons of bleach in 4 cups water (50 ml bleach in 1-litre water). First clean with soap and water, then clean with the bleach solution and let it air dry.
Restaurant:
• Our Restaurants will now have well-spaced tables, with seating for 2.
Kitchen:
• We will Divide our Kitchens into 3 areas – Range Critical Operation Area, Non-Range Critical Area & Pre preparation Area and maintain social distancing.
• We will Use 100 ppm chlorine for sanitizing non-veg items & 50 ppm chlorine for veg.
• Our Egg Crates are washed in 100 ppm chlorine for 2 minutes.
• We Use 50 ppm chlorine to wash hard shell vegetables like potato, tomatoes.
Cottages:
• Our Guests can now leave the IRD tray outside their cottages.
• We have mattress & pillow protectors that go through our process of wash & sanitisation after every guest.
• Only designated staff will handle guest room linen.
• All our linen is washed in-house under our trained eye, in water heated above 60-degree temperature, using approved detergents & bleach that are biodegradable.
Staff zone:
• Staff are already provided with designated hand wash & washrooms on par with those provided for guests. The cleaning of which is on the same high levels as that of our guests.
• They are provided hot water, approved clinical soaps & it is already mandatory that every staff bathes once he enters the Resort premises.
• All uniforms go through the same stringent cleaning process as guest linen.
• We will be ensuring Marking in staff accommodation & not compromise on social distancing.
